Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Maharaja Cabs., we value your trust and are committed to providing a transparent and seamless experience. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions associated with advance payments, cancellations, refunds, and amendments related to your travel bookings.


Package Payment Terms

1. Advance Payment: To confirm a travel package, a minimum of 30% of the total package cost must be paid in advance. The remaining 70% is payable upon arrival on Day 1 of the tour.

2. Non-Payment Clause: In the event of failure to make advance or final payments as stipulated, Maharaja Cabs. Guide reserves the right to suspend, withhold, or cancel services without prior notice.

3. Confirmation Document: All customers must carry their confirmation letter during travel, as it contains vital details, including hotel information, transport arrangements, and emergency contact numbers.


Methods of Advance Payment

Advance payments can be made through the following modes:

  • Online payments via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, or Digital Wallets (through secure gateways like Razorpay, Paytm, etc.)

  • EMI options available on select packages via supported gateways.

  • Cash deposits at our official offices or authorized bank accounts (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, and others).


Important Service Notes

1. Travel packages can be customized as per client requirements.

2. Air-conditioning services are not operational at hill stations due to local climate and terrain.

3. Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM, subject to hotel availability.

4. Meal timings must be followed; missed meals will not be reimbursed.

5. In remote locations, hotel standards may differ from urban expectations.

6. Sightseeing schedules may be modified based on monument closures or local events.

7. Extra expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances (natural calamities, strikes, etc.) are borne by the traveler.

8. Government-issued ID proof is mandatory for all travelers.

9. Service tax and additional charges are billed separately.

10. Maharaja Cabs. Guide is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other external factors.


Cancellation & Refund Terms

  1. A confirmed booking contract is established only upon receipt of the advance deposit.

  2. Cancellation requests must be made in writing.

  3. Cancellations made more than 15 days before travel are subject to standard cancellation charges.

  4. Advance payments are non-refundable for cancellations within 15 days of the travel date.

  5. In the event of the death of an immediate family member, refunds (after applicable deductions) may be granted upon submission of valid proof.

  6. Package pricing is subject to adjustment in accordance with government directives and market conditions.

  7. Complimentary services that remain unused are non-refundable.

  8. Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 1–2 working days to the original mode of payment.


Amendment Policy (Date Changes)

  1. Requests for postponement or preponement must be emailed at least 15 days in advance.

  2. One-time rescheduling is allowed without charge. Additional changes may attract extra fees.

  3. Charges imposed by third-party service providers for amendments will be deducted from the advance payment.

  4. All amendments are subject to availability and seasonal pricing fluctuations.

  5. Changes requested within 15 days of the travel date are not permitted, except in extraordinary cases.

  6. Advance payments are valid for 1 year from the booking date and are transferable under existing terms.


Legal Jurisdiction

1. Any disputes arising out of bookings with Maharaja Cabs. fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Uttar Pradesh, India.

2.Non-Payment Clause: In case of failure to make the required payments, either advance or remaining, Maharaja Cabs. reserves the right to suspend or withhold services.

3. Confirmation Document: Customers must carry their confirmation letter during travel, as it contains essential information like hotel details, cab arrangements, and service contact numbers.

How to Make an Advance Payment

Advance payment can be made through the following channels:

  • Online payment via Net Banking, digital wallets (via secure gateways like UPI, Gpay, Paytm, and others).

  • EMI options are available for select packages through supported payment gateways.

  • Cash deposit at our official offices or into our authorized bank accounts (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, and others).


Service Notes

1. Packages can be customized based on customer requirements.

2. AC services are not applicable in hill stations due to terrain and climate conditions.

3. Standard hotel check-in is at 12:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM (subject to availability).

4. Hotel meal timings must be followed; missed meals are not refundable.

5. In remote tourist locations, amenities may not match urban standards. Hotel ratings are based on local standards and pricing rather than star classification.

6. Sightseeing schedules may be adjusted based on monument closures or local events to ensure smooth tour operations.

7. Any extra cost due to unforeseen events (natural calamities, strikes, etc.) must be borne by the traveler.

8. Service tax and service charges are billed separately.

9. Government-issued ID proof is mandatory for all travelers.

10. Maharaja Cabs. is not responsible for delays due to traffic, roadblocks, or other uncontrollable events.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. A confirmed contract between the client and Maharaja Cabs. is established only after the advance deposit is received.

2. Cancellation Requests must be made in writing. If cancellation occurs more than 15 days prior to the departure date, standard cancellation fees apply.

3. Advance Payment Non-Refundable: Cancellations made within 15 days of the travel date will result in the forfeiture of the 100% advance deposit.

4. Exceptional Cases: In the unfortunate event of the death of an immediate family member, refunds may be granted (less applicable deductions) upon submission of valid documentation.

5. Package pricing is subject to change in accordance with government regulations and market conditions.

6. Complimentary services not availed are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

7. Bookings may be canceled by Maharaja Cabs. if advance payments are insufficient.

8. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 1–2 working days and credited to the original mode of payment.


Amendment Policy (Prepone & Postpone)

1. Requests to change travel dates must be submitted via email at least 15 days in advance.

2. A one-time change is allowed free of charge. Subsequent changes may incur additional fees.

3. If service providers impose charges for the change, these will be deducted from the advance.

4. All amendments are subject to availability and seasonal pricing variations.

5. No changes are accepted within 15 days of the travel date, except in rare cases (e.g., natural disasters).

6. Advance payments can be used within 1 year from the date of booking. The invoice and payment are transferable under existing terms.


Legal Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from travel packages booked through Maharaja Cabs. shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals in Uttar Pradesh
